Dr. Michael Shatto
I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and raised in Livermore CA. My interest in chiropractic began in high school as I explored the various fields of health care. It has long been my dream to become a doctor. I was drawn to chiropractic first because treating a patient’s condition by addressing the cause rather than the symptoms had always made good sense to me. Second, because as a patient I have experienced the chiropractic adjustment as a powerful tool for addressing the causes of dysfunction. I studied locally at both KCC and OIT. In 2013 I completed my undergraduate work and transferred to the University of Western States in Portland OR. In 2016, I graduated Magna cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree with a BS in Human Biology. Following graduation I completed an internship at Back to Health Chiropractic Alliance under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Taylor. I benefitted immensely from learning from such a highly respected and skilled physician. My wife Tammy and I are excited to have returned home to our children, grand-children, parents, siblings and friends in Klamath Falls. We greatly enjoy practicing and serving in the community. I spend as much of my spare time as possible outdoors either fishing, hunting, or hiking. I love living in Klamath Falls because the opportunities to pursue these passions are endless. I count among my most treasured memories those spent fishing and hunting in the region with family and friends.

In addition to his service as a Captain in the US Army, Dr. Barker served at Parker University in the student senate as the student body president throughout the duration of his education. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family, fly fishing, working out, and blowing leaves off the road while riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Dr. Robert Taylor
I was born in Louisville, KY in 1971. I planned on becoming a doctor at a very young age. My step-mother came into the kitchen and I was sitting in the floor hitting my knee with a hammer. When she asked what I was doing, I replied, “checking my repulses”. We can only assume that I confused reflexes and impulses, but the stage was set at age 8 for me to become a doctor. During my undergraduate studies at University of Kentucky I was injured diving from the 10 meter platform. The medical doctors were unable to help me, so in order to keep my athletic scholarship I visited a chiropractor and he changed my life. I changed from Biology/Pre-med to Chiropractic and graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1997. I moved to Klamath Falls immediately after finishing school and opened my first office at Campus Square in 2001. Back to Health Chiropractic Alliance moved downtown to the current location in July of 2009. Our vision is being a complete wellness resource. The most important things in my life are my family, Linda, Dillon and Audrey and helping my patients live their best possible life through the power of the chiropractic adjustment. I love Klamath and the outdoors. In the summer we spend as much time as possible on the water either skiing or sailing and rock climbing. In the winter we love snowboarding and watching football.
